Use cases
The use-case catalog lists what AI can do in a business, by industry and department. Each use case carries tags: the industries it applies to, the departments it serves, what the AI does (its chain of steps), the protected data it touches, the regulations it falls under and the systems it needs. Where a process template exists, the use case links to it.
A workspace is tagged too (its industries, size, systems, regulations), and each person with their departments, so the catalog shows each person what fits their business and their work.
Catalog
bash
# What fits this workspace (default), my departments only, or everything
curl "https://app.neody.ai/api/v1/use-cases?scope=applicable" -H "Authorization: Bearer $NEODY_KEY"
curl "https://app.neody.ai/api/v1/use-cases?scope=mine&department=department:finance" -H "Authorization: Bearer $NEODY_KEY"
# One use case, and the tag taxonomy
curl https://app.neody.ai/api/v1/use-cases/ap_invoice_validation -H "Authorization: Bearer $NEODY_KEY"
curl https://app.neody.ai/api/v1/use-cases/taxonomy -H "Authorization: Bearer $NEODY_KEY"Each entry includes fit (industry, every_business, common, other), for_me, its risk tier, readiness (runs, template, guide) and, when the workspace has taken it up, its adoption.
The workspace's list
The workspace keeps its own list of use cases with a status (interested → planned → piloting → live, or paused, retired, declined), an owner and its own risk rating. Piloting and live count as active.
bash
curl https://app.neody.ai/api/v1/use-cases/register -H "Authorization: Bearer $NEODY_KEY"
# Take one up or change it (needs usecases.manage)
curl -X PUT https://app.neody.ai/api/v1/use-cases/supplier_onboarding/adoption \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $NEODY_KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"status": "piloting", "notes": "Five suppliers first"}'A workspace's rating can make a use case's risk tier stricter, never looser. Every change is written to the audit log.
